Cherokee Myths

ANNUAL MEETING
APRIL 26, 2009

The Collinsville Historical Association's Annual Meeting
will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 2:30 P.M.
at the Collinsville Community Center.

Scheduled to speak are Senator Lowell Baron, Brant Craig and John Baker.
The Sand Rock FFA String Band will perform and refreshments will be served.
CHA's museum and offices will be open for everyone to see.

Come see what has been done and is being done to preserve
Collinsville's history, and hear about some exciting projects CHA will be
working on in the very near future!

2006 Annual CHA Meeting

Collinsville Historical Association President, Martha Barksdale, opens the Annual Meeting, which was hosted by the Collinsville Presbyterian Church on April 9, 2006. After the meeting refreshements were served at Nessa's Catering and Private Parties.
Each year CHA presents awards and certificates to groups and individuals who have done the most during the prior year to promote and support the preservation of our town and its history.
Certificates were awarded to:


Collinsville Presbyterian Church
Mary Rhinehart
The Joyful Noise Youth Praise Band
Pat Hildebrand


Honorary Membership was awarded to
Congressman Robert Aderholt
by CHA President Martha Barksdale.


CHA Secretary, Sharon Dutton, presents the
The Civic/Business/Governmental Agency Award to:
The Collinsville Library.

A plant and Recognition of Service Certificate
was awarded to Faye Ryan.


The Restoration Project Award went to:
Nessa’s Catering & Private Parties
and Sister Sams & Moore


The Individual Award for Preservationist of the Year went to:
Charles Moore for his re-creation of the town in miniature.
